  The Planning Commissioner met on March 4 and voted 7-0 to deny the application to redevelop.

  Meetings are held in the Manuel Maloof Auditoruim at 1300 Commerce  Drive in Decatur.

I live on Fantasy Lane just off Valley Brook Rd. in Dekalb County and a developer is trying to re-zone two lots of land at the one and only entrance to our 80 home subdivision so he can build eleven attached town homes on that site.  We went to the meeting of the planning commissioners on March 4th and the committee voted to deny the developers request 7-0 but we are concerned that the zoning board may ignore the committee's recommendation.   Please add our situation to your website. The developer actually has people in my neighborhood believing this will be good for them.
